What Stops You from Reaching the Next Level?

One of my clients was working on her soft voice to sound stronger. She had been frustrated at times as people couldn’t hear her.

Recently she is not putting as much effort as she did in the beginning. I asked if she has noticed this. She admitted, “Yeah. People are not asking me to repeat any more. I guess I can get away with my soft voice? heehee.”

Did you have the similar experience: You had a struggle that made you feel so painful and you decided to change; after a while, the pain reduced and you stopped halfway in the change? I’ve been there.

The problem is the pain will come and haunt you again and again if you stopped halfway. You’ve got to keep on making the change. It’s not a one-time event. It is life-time. Whatever we do in our life, professional and personal, we must make constant and never-ending progress. If you stop the progress, you are not growing. What happens when you stay stagnant while others keep moving forward? Stagnant equals death.

What is the progress you wanted to make and stopped halfway? It’s never too late.
