The Healing Power of Your Voice

Voice has been considered by most people as a nice thing to have and the last area to work on when it comes to self-development. Most people think that voice is only a tool to conveying information and voice improvement is only for those who have a soft voice that can not be heard clearly, or for those who have a monotonous voice.

I often hear people say to me, “Oh, I don’t need voice improvement and my friend may need as she has a soft voice.” Most people are ignorant of the power of our voice, that is to transform our lives.

Voice has been marginalized since the rise of technologies that made human beings started to write more than speaking. Voice as a channel of expression of ideas, emotions and individual identity has been overlooked. More importantly, voice as a tool to healing and transforming our lives has been forgotten.

Our voice reflects our physical, mental and emotional state. The voice indicates what’s stuck in your physical body; what’s blocked in your mind; and what emotional baggage you are carrying.

Our voice, body, mind and emotions are connected and constantly correspond to each other.  Any changes in our body, mind and emotions will result in changes in our voice.

Through working on your voice, we’ll be able to resolve all the barriers and blocks that have kept you stuck.

The traditional approach to self-development is to work on your mind and your body that includes your body language and voice, will change accordingly. It believes that the mind comes first. However, researches have shown that the other way around, working on your body to influence your mind, is equally powerful. Working on your voice is to work on your body, as voice is physical vibration. When you work on your voice, you’ll change your vibrational frequency, which will affect the way you feel about yourself. and it’ll change your mind, the way you feel about yourself, and bring more joy in your life.
