Stand in front of a mirror and say to yourself, “I love you.”
This is a well-known healing process taught by Louise Hay, called Mirror Work.Louise is one of the best teachers in self help. (Find out more on Louise Hay here.) I’m a big fan of her work. I recommended her book in every class I taught and every speech I gave.
According to Louise Hay, every struggle we experience and every pain we suffer, are all the result of the lack of self-love.

How does this have to do with voice improvement? In my working with my clients, many of the voice problems are the result of the lack of self-love. Blaming the self, lacking faith in the self, doubting the self, and many more, are hindering the progress in not only voice, but many other areas of their lives. Mirror Work is a great process to learn how to love ourselves, accept ourselves and forgive ourselves.
P.S. Check out our next workshop Influence through Voice, where I’ll share my experience of mirror work and how you can apply it in your life. Grab your seat here.
