What have you noticed?
You found that as I rimmed, the sound became louder and richer. That was the result of the sound resonance.
Resonance is the amplification of sound by sympathetic vibration in the chambers. OK, Sounds very complicated.
As I rimmed the bowl, I created the vibration on the bowl. Sound is vibration. The sound is then amplified in the bowl, which works as a sound chamber.
The enlarged and enriched sound in the bowl is resonance.
Imagine in your body, if you can use all the chambers, i.e. cavities, in your voice projection, how would your voice sound like? Deeper, richer, fuller, which projects more influence. Most of the voice problems will be solved, like soft voice, high pitched voice, immature voice.
