Develop A Mature Voice

Are you not being taken seriously or failing to get the respect you deserve because you sound too young?

Did you lose the deal or sales you worked so hard for because you sound immature and less credible?

Have you ever said to yourself, “If only I could sound more mature, I would have been or done …”

Sounding mature does not necessarily come with age, or even experience. With proper voice training and practice, you can sound mature if you are determined to do so. It’s not only possible, but achievable.

What is a mature-sounding voice? What impression do you project if you have a mature-sounding voice?

You will sound consistently confident and self-assured. You don’t seek approval from others.

1. Depth

A mature voice has depth and is not through lowering your voice. If you purposely press your voice down, how long do you think you can last? Not even a minute you will feel uncomfortable and unnatural. Don’t get misled by those catchy titles, like “how to develop a deep voice” etc.

To develop depth, you need to find your fupl voice. When you speak with a full voice, you will not only sound mature, but credible.

2. Clarity

A mature voice is clear to speak out for itself and to be heard. It’s not mumbled and not too soft. People with a mature voice articulate their thoughts, ideas and opinions.

To speak with clarity, relax yourself and support your speaking with enough air. Make diaphragmatic breathing a habit. You will not only find your speech clear, but many voice problems, like mumbling, soft-spoken, and speed-talking, will be solved.

3. Openness

A mature voice speaks with openness. It’s not forced, not squeezed, but free and relaxed. You can hear authenticity and generosity.

To develop openness, get comfortable with your body. Any physical tension will hinder a voice from being open. Remember the truth that you have a richer, more resonant and authentic voice inside. When you engage your full body, not just your mouth or throat, to speak, you are going to love your voice, and you start to exude confidence, authenticity and openness.

Many people think that you must change your mindset, then your voice will follow. They fail to realize the immense power of your voice. Your voice, a sound, has the ability to empower and transform you. Develop your voice and you’ll discover the unique qualities and strength resided in you. Take good advantage of the powerful tool you have.

Start by being aware how your voice is produced. Is it restricted? Does it just come from your throat? Do you have enough air to support you? Commit yourself with voice improvement to find your unique voice inside.
