Early this month during one of my speaking sessions, some participants asked this question.
Deep voice is not one of the criteria for a good voice.
A good voice is full and rich in quality.
A good voice is projected with the least effort, as much as you sigh.
A good voice is engaging the whole body, not just your throat or your voice box.
A good voice is projected with ease and makes you feel at ease. After all, voice is vibration. It is physical. A good voice sends out positive vibes and puts your listeners at ease, physically.
To develop your real good voice, you need to:
- Be open and relax;
- Breathe fully and let go of the breath completely while speaking;
- Develop resonance that engages your whole body.
