How to Develop Your Authentic Voice?

Do you even need to develop an authentic voice? Wouldn’t “just being yourself” suffice?

In Cambridge Dictionary, “authentic” is “real, true, or what people say it is.”

The challenge is that your voice may not say who you are. Like many people, you may have great insight and wisdom inside but when you speak, the voice could not fully reflect the magnificence in you.

When you develop your full voice, a voice that engages your full body, you are realigning your body, realigning your mind, and realigning your magnificence from inside out. It is not a surprise that when you speak with your full voice, you feel more confident, look more confident, and of course, sound more confident.

Though everyone’s ultimate objective in developing their voice is a full voice, everyone’s full voice sounds unique. You are unique, so is your full voice. There’s no another person who sounds the same as you. Your full voice reflects that, your unique experience, your unique wisdom, your unique character, your unique personality, and so on. You are not replicable, as said in Oxford Dictionary, “authentic” is “undisrupted origin, not a copy.”

That’s also why, you don’t need to, and you should not, try to sound like someone else, or adopt a certain voice. You’ll only lose who you are, your authenticity.

There’s already greatness and magnificence in you. What you need is the realignment to let your voice reflect that.
