This is a two-fold question.
For my male clients, they wanted to develop a deeper voice so they could sound manly, with more bass sound.
On the other hand, my female clients were concerned that with a deeper voice, they would lose their femininity.
The answer is also two-fold.
First, you need to ask the following two questions:
What is masculinity? What is femininity?
Masculinity is to get things done, make things happen and focus on the result.
Femininity is not to be submissive or a doormat. It is to be receptive, to be nurturing and to attend to the process.
When you develop your full voice, those are the qualities you’ll develop.
You will not sound like a man if you are a woman; and, if you are a man, you will not sound like a woman.
Both genders will develop qualities that are essential not only to survive, to achieve, and to do, but also to be, the reason that we are here as human beings, not human doings.
